A growing, mid-sized Boston law firm is adding a Partner to their Corporate and Transactional practice. They are open to bringing over an entire team if warranted.
Many of their attorneys come from Big Law, looking for a better culture and higher ceiling.
The position requires:
(a) an MA license;
(b) 10+ years of experience in corporate law, including extensive experience with private company M&A and M&A financing (debt, convertible debt, equity, SAFEs) and general corporate matters (licensing, NDA's, service contracts, etc);
(c) a portable book of business of $500K+
Most of the team heads into the Boston office Tuesday-Thursday, but they are open to fully remote candidates.
The intention is to have this person take on a leadership role right off the bat, and become an Equity Partner after 2 years.
The billable hour minimum is 1450.
The compensation package is negotiable, with both a very comfortable base salary and bonus structure.
